山东西集团有限公司始建于1986年，是一家以玉米深加工为主业，拥有总资产50.6亿元，职工4500余人的全国大型工业企业集团。年加工玉米90万吨，年产60万吨玉米淀粉、50万吨淀粉糖、8万吨赖氨酸、15万吨玉米油、20万吨高蛋白玉米纤维饲料、1万吨酵母、8万吨碧云洞矿泉水、5000吨范公系列白酒、50万吨螺纹钢。主导产品先后打入国际市场，远销亚、欧、非、澳的十几个和地区。2005年企业完成工业总产值45.17亿元,实现销售收入45.15亿元,利税4.05亿元,出口创汇3248万美元，同比增长62%、63%、63%、361%。企业取得了较为显著的经济效益、社会效益和生态效益，促进了三个文明建设。
